Meet the author ↴

Sorin Anagnoste is a finance guy by heart with a focus on applied business strategy. Most of the time he works on answering questions such as: “What comes next?”, “How is tech/software going to disrupt this industry?” and “How to build moats?”

Beside his role as Associate Professor and Vice-Dean at the Faculty of Business Adminis- tration in foreign languages (FABIZ) within the Bucharest University of Economic Studies (ASE), Sorin engages regularly with companies that are trying to scale, pivot or seed.

With a career spanning over 15 years, Sorin has cultivated a diverse experience portfo- lio, working with both established companies and local venture capitals. His work ethic is captured by the principle of effective action – “What did you deliver this week?” kind of approach. He believes in making things happen through collaboration and long & focused effort. His academic contributions include over 30 articles; he shares insights on strategy, technology, and business models on his blog at https://onstrategy.eu

Sorin also dedicates time to share his knowledge as a guest speaker at workshops and sem- inars.
